Jaskirt Dhaliwal is a photographer and visual artist and specialises in portraiture and telling stories through her bodies of work, such as her Award winning Women’s Football body of work.

This work focuses on the identity of female footballers and the recognition the sport and it’s player’s receive. She is currently working on expanding the project to international teams across the world with the help of Fierce.

Jaskirt uses photography to explore ideas around identity and she is also experimenting with stills and video after artist residencies with MAC and currently Fierce. She has used these opportunities to push and challenge her own boundaries with new work, and is currently working on a new project titled Birmingham Is... about her town. ...more
